The Role

As the Technical Testing Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the testing team across multiple testing stages including:

  • Unit Testing

  • Integration Testing

  • Functional Testing

  • Performance Testing

  • Acceptance Testing

  • Smoke Testing

  • Regression Testing

• Developing comprehensive test plans and executing exploratory, functional, and regression tests.

• Collaborating closely with product management, financial modelling, development, and support teams to ensure readiness for release.

• Driving operational and cost targets while optimising resource allocation.

• Ensuring customer service solutions align with the business operational plan and organisational values.

• Ensuring compliance with statutory, legislative, and governance requirements, and responding to audit findings.

• Leading process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce redundancies.

• Supporting the development of tactical strategies aligned with overall business goals.

• Building strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and peers.

• Participating actively in communities of practice to promote organisational knowledge growth.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant IT Degree (mandatory).

• Certification in software testing (advantageous).

• 5-7 years of experience in software testing, including leading teams and projects.

• Experience with complex systems spanning multiple platforms.

• Strong technical skills in:

  • SQL

  • Perl

  • Linux

  • PostgreSQL

  • AWS Redshift (desirable)

• Familiarity with loyalty or rewards programmes.

• Ability to advise on strategy and guide administrative staff effectively.

• Experience collaborating with technical delivery teams and managing cross-functional projects.
