Description:
Vodacom, South Africa’s number 1 Top Employer (2024 certified), is hiring a Group Schemes Specialist to manage and administer group insurance schemes. This role involves setting up pay points, managing monthly data, handling premium allocations, and working closely with internal teams and third parties to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create pay points for new insurance schemes.

• Load and manage monthly data for schemes.

• Implement changes to benefit structures.

• Support new product setup on the MIP system.

• Test and approve schemes on the MIP system.

• Run bulk data imports.

• Manage receipting and collections per scheme.

• Allocate premiums to members.

• Oversee debit orders, payments, and rejections daily.

• Maintain relationships with third-party providers.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate or 5+ years’ experience in related financial roles.

• About 5 years experience in telecommunication insurance.

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

• Analytical with good attention to detail.

• Team player with leadership abilities.
