The Role
As the Product Development Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

Leading the formulation and implementation of product development strategies within Private Banking.

Achieving revenue targets through client growth and new acquisitions.
-
Ensuring efficient cost management and meeting Cost-to-Income (CTI) ratio targets.
-
Promoting a client-focused service culture that supports long-term relationship building.
-
Managing key stakeholder relationships, including clients, SMEs, project managers, and executives.

Advising on target setting and contributing to budget planning and presentations.

Keeping expert-level knowledge of relevant products, pricing structures, and processing requirements.

Driving performance and alignment across business channels.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:

8–10 years’ experience in banking, wealth management, investment, or financial planning.

At least 4 years in a leadership or strategic role.

A completed NQF Level 8 qualification, such as:
-
Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning

BCom Honours in Investment or Risk Management

FAIS compliant with RE5 and RE1 certifications (advantageous).

A clear credit record (required under the National Credit Act).
