Job Description
The Youth Employment Services (YES) programme is a national initiative led by business, in collaboration with government and labour, aimed at creating meaningful work experiences for young South Africans. The programme empowers youth by building practical retail skills through real-world job exposure.
The Role
Successful applicants will participate in a 12-month, full-time on-the-job training programme, gaining hands-on experience across various departments within the retail environment. Upon completion, learners will be equipped with the skills to either work in the retail sector or start their own retail-focused business.
Who Can Apply
South African youth aged between 18 and 34 years.
Requirements

Minimum of a Grade 10 pass or equivalent.

A matric qualification is advantageous.

OR a Retail Readiness Programme (RRP) certificate.
