The Role
Youth@WORK is looking for two dynamic and motivated young graduates to join our Gqeberha team through the YES Programme. These internships are designed to give you real-world work experience, help you grow professionally, and equip you with the skills needed to launch your career.

1. Communications & Marketing Intern
As a Comms & Marketing Intern, you will gain experience in content creation, managing social media platforms, event coordination, and supporting brand and communication strategies. This role is ideal for a creative, organised individual with a passion for storytelling and digital engagement.

2. OCS Intern (Operations & Compliance Support)
As an OCS Intern, you’ll assist with administrative tasks, logistics coordination, operations support, and compliance monitoring. This role is suited for someone who enjoys structure, efficiency, and is keen to build experience in internal systems and process optimisation.

Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen

• Must be currently unemployed

• Must be between the ages of 18–35 years

• Must be based in Gqeberha or surrounding areas

• Completed Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Business Admin, Logistics, Public Management, etc.)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or digital platforms

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines

• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a youth-focused organisation

• Previous volunteer, leadership, or community involvement is an advantage
