Job Description
Reddford House Blue Hills, part of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative College Visual Art and Design Teacher to join its vibrant academic team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
As the College Visual Art and Design Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging instruction in both Visual Arts and Design to college-phase learners. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore their creativity and develop technical and conceptual art and design skills in line with curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Visual Arts and Design to students in the College Phase.

Develop lesson plans, projects, and assessments that align with the school’s academic standards.

Foster a classroom environment that supports creative exploration and academic excellence.

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, exhibitions, and cultural activities.

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and reports to parents and leadership.

Contribute to the broader life of the school through co-curricular involvement.
Requirements

A relevant degree in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Art Education, or a related field.

Recognised teaching qualification and SACE registration.

Proven experience teaching Visual Arts and/or Design at the senior school level.

A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student creativity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with the IEB curriculum (advantageous but not required).
