The Consultant, Cash (Level 1) is responsible for attending to all cash-related matters, including servicing walk-in customers and managing ATM transactions. The role requires forming an accurate assessment and understanding of client demands to consistently deliver service in line with client experience standards and bank requirements.
The Role

Handle cash-related customer interactions at the branch and ATM level.

Assess client needs accurately and act to resolve demands efficiently.

Manage bulk cash transactions and ensure compliance with teller operations procedures.

Support frontline operations with thorough knowledge of branch policies and processes.

Maintain a strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to cash handling.

Collaborate with various branch departments to ensure smooth cash operations.

Uphold client experience standards and bank policies consistently.
Requirements
Qualifications:

National Certificate in Banking (NQF5 FAIS-recognised qualification).
Experience:

1–2 years relevant branch banking experience.

Extensive knowledge of teller operations and frontline support.

Proficiency in handling bulk cash transactions and ATM operations.

Strong understanding of legal requirements related to cash handling.

In-depth knowledge of the functions of different branch departments.
